19 Teeny-Tiny Resolutions for a Happier 2019

Instead of telling you how to completely turn around your life or unlock your limitless potential (there are lots of people on Medium who are happy to do this), here’s a list of teeny-tiny things you can do to feel just a little bit better in 2019.

These New Year’s resolutions won’t make you a millionaire or give you the body of your dreams, but they might make your day a little better. And if you make most of your days a little better, then your year will be better. That’s just math.

1. Text a friend you haven’t talked to in a while.

Even if it’s just to say you were thinking of them and you hope they’re having a good day. This will take about ten seconds and will make them feel loved and that love will probably be returned.

2. Park efficiently

This is one of my favorite little challenges. Take the few seconds to park in a way that there’s room for one more person on that stretch of curb. How great do you feel when you find a parking spot? You have the power to make someone else feel that way.

3. Put your takeout or frozen meal on a real plate.
